One of our favorite aspects is the reimagination of the art of sheesha. While mirror work is a trend, so far it has not been done on a massive commercial scale. A beautiful dupatta from this series has been adorned with something like 650 sheaves applied by hand.
The eye also resorts to the exclusive use of lace in this collection, however, with the focus changed from the shirt to the dupatta. The timeless flat patti was an unexpected choice for the turf, but the ingenious reinterpretation of Saira Shakira’s technique has made her enormously popular with the public.
