OPPO Watch with Watch VOOC charging
And Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC
OPPO has been making fun of its smart watch for quite some time, literally sharing photos of the device before the official announcement. Today, the company presented OPPO Watch in all its glory. This is OPPO’s first entry in the smartwatch market and they are doing so with their patented software “Color ORS Watch”. First we have to approach the elephant in the
room: OPPO Watch Apple Watch’s It seems It has a very similar square shape with curved glass and integrated bands. The biggest design difference is the lack of a “digital crown” dial, while the OPPO watch has only two buttons on the right. Even so, there is no truth in the fact that this is a well known device.
In addition, the OPPO watch is a very attractive device. The curved glass is easily integrated into the metal frame and the integrated bands produce a very soft appearance. The watch comes in two sizes (46 mm and 41 mm) and some different colors (black, silver, gold and rose gold). There is also a stainless steel model.
The OPPO 46mm watch has a 1.91 inch OLED display with a resolution of 402 × 476 (326ppi). OPPO did not share details of the 41mm model display. Although not specifically mentioned, this smartwatch works with Snapdragon 2500 SC, as indicated by the Apollo chip in the graphics.
One of the great features of OPPO Watch is the incorporation of the company’s VOOC flash charging technology. The full charge only takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, while the charge can get 46 percent of the battery in just 15 minutes. It is used for 18 hours with a 15 minute charge. It is said that a full charge is used regularly for approximately 40 hours, but it can be extended up to 21 days with the power saving mode.
As mentioned earlier, OPPO Watch runs the company’s own “Color OS OS” software, not OS OS, based on Android. However, the company says it will soon “make versions available in other markets.” OPPO Watch will be launched for the first time in China on March 24 at 1,499 yuan (~ 215). What do you think of OPPO’s first smart watch?
