Asus Zenfone 6 could be the best value brand for the 2019 money
Asus is an old name when it comes to gadgets, however, Asus could not make a breakthrough in the smartphone industry; Well maybe so far ZenFone 5 seemed like a bad iPhone clone for a lower price, but this time, it seems that ZenFone 6 is here to change the way people think about ZenFones. It seems that the company is looking for fences with its ZenFone 6 that comes with a rotating camera, a screen without a bezel and a huge battery. Asus has opted for some smart options with this phone. Let’s see what ZenFone 6 has up its sleeve.
Design and exhibition
In terms of design, ZenFone 6 does not offer much. It has a slightly bright smooth back with double sensor camera arranged horizontally on the fingerprint sensor. The front part is complete without bevel, since Asus has opted for a mechanism of rotation of the emergent camera.
Upon reaching the screen, ZenFone 6 has a 6.4-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. According to Asus, the brightness of the screen exceeds 600 nits.
In addition to the basics, we have two highlights in ZenFone 6 when it comes to design. One is this emergent camera mechanism and the other is its front screen. The camera is in a fairly large vacuum on the back of the phone and moves up to sign up when you want to take a selfie. The camera looks a little higher than normal pop-up selfie cameras, but even so, it only takes less than a second to exit.
Internal and storage
Under the hood we have exactly what we expected, Octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, the most powerful processor found in Android phones. The processor is paired with 6 GB of RAM or 8 GB of RAM with 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of built-in memory options at a reasonable price.
Until ZenFone 5, Asus phones were always affected by their software because Asus ZenUI put on phones and tablets.
With the ZenUI in ZenFone 6, it offers Android stock. One would hardly find any difference compared to the Google pixels and the new Asus flagship.
The design of the ZenFone 6 camera is a bit strange. The phone has a single double sensor camera that doubles as a rear camera and a selfie camera. The camera uses the Sony IMX586 48-megapixel sensor, which is used in a number of high-end camera phones today. The secondary sensor is a 13 MP wide-angle lens.
Asus has put a lot of engineering when it comes to the camera. The camera uses a custom stepper motor that rotates the lenses 180 degrees. The camera housing is made of liquid metal for durability. According to Asus, the camera has been tested for 100,000 operations.
Battery and prices
Asus ZenFone 6 comes with an incredibly attractive battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and fast charging enabled. The phone brings 33 hours of talk time and 26 days of waiting.
