The youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continue to show their football talent at the Ufone Football Tournament, organized within the province of KPK. Winners of matches from 6 of 21 cities have already been announced, while the remaining matches continue as scheduled.

The first game was played at Kabir Khan Park in Lakki Marwat, where Carvaan FC and Registan FC clashed for the City title. Carvaan FC dominated the game and defeated Registan FC with a score of 3 to 0. Touqeer, Kazi Tahir and Nouman scored the goals for their team to take the title of the City.

In Mansehra, Kohistan FC emerged victorious. Similarly, in Haripur, a challenging match was played between Tarbela Shaheen FC and Golden FC on the grounds of Degree College Haripur. Both teams failed to score a goal during the match that had to be decided on a penalty. Tarbela Shaheen FC secured the City title by beating Golden FC with a 3-0 score during the shootings.

Tank Bazaar witnessed the clash for the City title, where Aatish FC gave Pak Fighter FC a fairly complete defeat with a 6-0 score. Shoaib scored a hat trick to solidify his team’s claim on the City title for Tank. Adnan, Fareed and Umer were among the other players who contributed one goal each towards this victory.

In Dera Ismail Khan, DFA Senior and DFA Junior fought for the title of the City in the field of Iqra College. DFA Senior emerged as a D.I. Khan defeating DFA Junior with a score of 3 to 0. Zulfiqar, Faheem and Rehan scored goals to lead their team to victory.

Similarly, for the Malakand title, the match was played at Zafar Park, where Malakand Green FC and Batkhela White FC met. Adnan of Batkhela White scored two crucial goals, first during the 16th minute and second during the 25th minute to consolidate his team’s leadership in the match. Later, during the 63rd minute, Waqar made a move to successfully score the third goal required to seal the victory for the team.

Ufone teams also visited several schools, colleges and universities in the cities of the party that participate in exciting activities organized for young people and also the opportunity to win products and gifts related to the football cup.

Ufone believes that involving young people in healthy activities, such as sports, has a positive effect on their mental and physical development. Therefore, they provide a platform for young people in their country to show their skills and show their talent to the rest of the country.

The tournament in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is based on the success of three editions of the Ufone Balochistan Soccer Tournament, which evolved to become one of Baluchistan’s main sporting events.
