The king of couture HSY exhibited his bridal collection at PFDC LOreal Paris Bridal Week 2019 entitled “Empire” in Lahore. Celebrating 25 years in fashion, the iconic fashion designer HSY Pakistan organized the powerful final of the ninth edition of PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2019 with the new haute couture collection F / W Bridal Couture ‘Empire’. The inspiration of the collection comes from 4 different empires, namely; the Ottoman Empire, the Mughal Empire, the French Polynesian Empire, and the Russian Empire.
The collection is a manifestation of HSY’s love for history and travel. For “Empire”, HSY has traveled all year looking for unique reasons. However, all embroideries come from Pakistan when it comes to technique; Embroidery Dhaga, Resham Kora and Naqshi Kada. “We wanted to create a collection consisting of heavy and light bridals. We want to adopt the changing situation in Pakistan and serve a wider audience with different price ranges.
In addition, over the years, we have a young and growing clientele; We want to attend to them too. But to say that each piece is very elegant, old school, timeless and always classic in HSY. For this collection, we are experimenting with lighter and darker tones and we have created strong pieces for both women and men. In 25 years, we are trying to restructure and wear fashion that is really wearable because I firmly believe that fashion today is more about portability than ever before, ”HSY said in its shop window.
